Private cloud library
Save your own sections, pages, templates and whole sites to your account, and reuse them on every site of your Agency licence.
On this page
Agency. Without an Agency licence, Uncoder → Library → Cloud library explains the feature and links to the plans.
The cloud library is your agency's own collection of designs, saved to your licence on uncoderbuilder.com instead of one site. Save a section, a page, a template or a whole site once, and insert or import it on any site where your Agency key is active: the next client site starts from your best work, not from scratch.
Only you and your team see the library: it belongs to your licence and is never shared with other customers.
What you can save
| Item | Saved from | Reused as |
|---|---|---|
| Section | Any element and everything inside it, in the editor | An inserted copy in the editor, or a saved section of the site |
| Page or Template | A whole page, post or Theme Builder template, in the editor | An inserted copy in the editor, or a new draft |
| Site kit | A whole site, in Uncoder → Library → Cloud library | A site kit import, with the usual choices |
Save to the cloud library
A section
- In the editor, right-click the section (or any element) on the canvas or in Layers and choose Save as template.
- Type a Template name.
- Under Save to, choose Cloud library instead of This site.
- Click Save. The editor confirms Saved “…” to the cloud library.
The global classes the section uses are saved with it.
A page or template
- Open the page, post or template in the editor.
- Open the menu with the logo in the top-left corner and choose Save to cloud library.
The page is saved as it was last saved; unsaved changes are saved first.
A whole site
- Go to Uncoder → Library → Cloud library and click Save this site as a kit.
- Type a Name and choose the parts. Design System, Theme Builder, Pages & posts, Menus, Images & files and Custom fonts are ticked; Blog posts, Settings and Custom code are not.
- Click Save to cloud. Keep the page open while it uploads: with many images it takes a few minutes.
Only administrators can save a site kit.
Insert a section in the editor
Open Insert → Sections
In the editor, click Insert (the + in the rail on the left) and switch to Sections in the panel's header.
Find it under Cloud library
Click the Cloud library group to open it. It lists your sections, pages and templates; type in Search the cloud library to find one.
Insert it
Click + (Insert) next to the item. A copy is added after the selected section, or at the end of the page.
Inserting copies the item's images into this site's media library and adds the global classes this site does not have yet. If an image cannot be copied, it keeps loading from the site it was saved on, and a message tells you how many.
Manage the library
Uncoder → Library → Cloud library lists everything in the library, most recently saved first, with its kind, size, the site it came from and when it was saved.
- Filter with All, Sections, Pages & templates and Site kits, or search with Search the library….
- Add to this site copies a section into this site's saved sections, so it also appears in Library → Saved sections. See Saved sections.
- Import as draft creates a page or template as a draft on this site.
- Import on a site kit opens the usual site kit import: choose the parts, what happens to items that already exist and the options. See Import a site kit.
- The pencil renames an item; the trash icon deletes it.
Deleting removes an item from the library for every site of your licence. What sites already inserted or imported stays.
Limits
The top of the list shows how much of the library you use, for example 48 items · 1.2 GB of 5.0 GB.
| Limit | Size |
|---|---|
| Items in the library | 2,000 |
| Storage for the whole library | 5 GB |
| One site kit | 500 MB |
| One section, page or template | 8 MB |
When the library is full, delete items you no longer need, usually old site kits.
Who can use it
- People with full builder access on a site where your Agency key is active. People with the Content only level, and clients of a handed-over site, do not see it.
- With white-label Only me turned on, only you and the people with full access in Client handoff.
- Saving a site kit and importing one needs an administrator.
- Without an Agency licence, the Cloud library tab of the Library shows only to the administrators who manage the licence, with a link to the plans. Other users do not see it.
When the Agency licence ends
The library becomes read-only. Uncoder → Library → Cloud library says Your licence has ended: the library is read-only: you can still insert and import everything in it, but saving, renaming and deleting need a renewed licence. After a refund, the library closes.
